The Whistler

The Whistler, also known as El Silbon, is a Venuezelan legend of a mysterious man who whistles an eerie tune. If the whistle sounds nearby, that means he is far away. If it sounds far away, that means he is close and the person is in danger. He often goes after womenisers, cheaters, and drunkards. The only way to get him away is the sound of a dog's bark as he is scared of dogs.
